Blue Ribbons for the Farm’s Fresh Produce!

Our fresh, organic produce is award winning! At this year’s Anne Arundel County Fair, Langton Green Community Farm took home four Blue Ribbons for: kale, zucchini, watermelon, red okra!  The Farm also won six Red Ribbons for: cayenne peppers, yellow squash, acorn squash, Asian eggplants, tomatoes, and carrots. For the past two years the Farm has entered its sustainable produce in the Fair and this year was a well-deserved prize-winner!

The 13-acre  farm in Millersville is a sustainable, therapeutic care farm where volunteers work side-by side with the individuals who receive support from Langton Green and choose to join its vocational programs. The Farm grows produce for Langton Green’s residences and donates surplus to those in need in the community, through places like Maryland Food Bank and SPAN.

Langton Green Community Farm is celebrating its tenth anniversary and among it many events and programs,  launched a CSA. This means members of the wider community can enjoy fresh, sustainable—and award-winning—produce!  Learn more about our CSA  or email us: farminfo@langtongreen.org.
