Video Spotlight:Our Dedicated Staff

At Langton Green staff are proud of their co-workers and their warm, welcoming community.  What’s it like to work at Langton Green?  “It’s about community.” “It’s inclusive.” “It’s about helping!” “If you enjoy seeing people happy then this is the place for you!”  These are just a few of the enthusiastic comments in our new Careers Video.

“It’s a family here,” says Job Coach Antoine Mullen, “John and Kimberly put their effort into us, believing in us and give us that authority to go out there and do our jobs.” House manager Julius Jennings agrees, “What sets Langton Green apart is the training –and our loving culture.  We train our employees really well.”

“We’ll meet you with the skills that you have,” says Executive Director Kimberly Breton, “We need very much for our staff to be as diverse as the individuals they support.”

Breton says the more than 200 staff at Langton Green came with diverse backgrounds and skill levels—but they all share a dedication to service, to helping the developmentally disabled adults they support.

Breton welcomes anyone who is interested in a career at Langton to visit the main residential setting at Arundel on the Bay Road in Annapolis, Md. Langton Green also has a 13-acre farm in Millersville that provides vocational training for individuals at Langton Green.

By all accounts the caretakers, managers and directors at Langton Green love their jobs —they take pride in their profession, and bring patience, flexibility,  and “a caring heart”  to work each day.
